What the game collects, who else receives it, and how to control it.

Lawn Master: Mow, Plant, Water (com.tentaculo.lawnmaster) on
Android and iOS, made by Tentaculo, and to nothing else.
Your lawn, your mower upgrades and your settings are saved on the phone only. Hard Reset in Options wipes them, and deleting the app deletes them. The one thing that leaves your device about how you play is the gameplay measurement described below; if the app crashes, a crash report is sent too.
The game may show pictures of our other games, and reads its ad settings, from our own server, tentaculogames.pt. To draw its screens it also loads its lettering from Google Fonts. Like any web server, each of these sees the internet address of the request. No identifier is sent with them, and we do not use them to recognise you.
The game does not ask for your location, your contacts, your photos, your microphone or your camera, and it holds no permission that would let it.
So we can find faults, balance the game and see where players stop, the game measures how it is played with Google Analytics for Firebase. Google runs it for us as our service provider (processor).
| What | Details |
|---|---|
| Gameplay measurement | Sessions and time played; the screens you open; game events: each phase of the garden (mowing, planting, watering, the firefly) starting and finishing, with its play time and counts such as trees felled, rocks broken, flowers planted or watered and garden areas visited; mower upgrades and what earned them; the reward offers, your answers and the videos watched; achievements; New Game + and Replay as Push Mower; changes made in the Options menu; and in-game error messages. Plus app version, device model, system version, language and approximate country (from your internet address). |
| Identifier | A random id for this install of the app (plus the advertising identifier where the consent screen and, on iPhone, tracking allow it). Never your name or email: the game does not know them. |
| How long | Google Analytics deletes the detailed events after at most 14 months. |
Measurement starts switched off. It is turned on only once Google's consent check has run when the game opens, and where the consent screen described below applies, only after you have answered it. There, measurement keeps an identifier on your phone only if you allowed storing information on your device; if you did not, it sends only counts with no identifier attached.
If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics (Google, as our service provider) receives a crash report: the stack trace (where in the code it failed), device model, system version, app version, the time, and a random Crashlytics id for this install — never your name or email. It is used only to find and fix crashes, and Google keeps crash reports for 90 days.
Ads, including the optional videos you can watch for a reward, are served by Google AdMob. To show and measure them, AdMob's code in the game collects:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Device identifiers | Including the advertising identifier (on iOS only if you allow tracking), used to show ads and to measure them. |
| Approximate location | Worked out from your IP address, so ads suit your country and region. Never your precise location. |
| Ad interactions | Which ads were shown and whether they were watched or tapped. |
| Diagnostics | Crash and performance data from the ad software, so faults can be fixed. |
Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Nothing is sold by us, and no data about you goes to anyone but Google (AdMob, and Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics as above).
Reward videos only play when you choose to watch one, and the game can be played without watching any.
The game is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything about them.
Because the game keeps no data about you on any server of ours, there is nothing for us to hand over or delete. The gameplay measurement is filed under a random id for the install, not under anything that names you, and Google deletes it after at most 14 months. To act on what Google holds, use your Google account's controls or the choices above. For any question, write to the address below.
If what the game collects changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
