Villains: Wreak Havoc · by Tentaculo
Delete your account and your data
There are two ways to do it: yourself, inside the game, or by asking us.
Both remove the same things, and both are permanent.
Last updated: 10 October 2026 · For the game
Villains: Wreak Havoc on Android (com.tentaculo.villains) and
iOS.
Do it yourself, in the game
Fastest: takes about ten seconds
- Open Villains, with the phone online.
- On the menu, tap your villain’s face and name: the avatar chip on the top bar.
The ACCOUNT window opens.
- At the bottom, tap Delete account if you signed in with
Google, or Delete my data if you play as a guest.
- Tap it a second time to confirm.
Everything goes at once, on the phone and on our servers, and the game starts again from
nothing as a new guest. It works the same on Android and on iPhone.
Ask us instead
If you have already uninstalled the game, or the button will not finish, email us and we
will do it for you.
Email
hellotentaculo@gmail.com
Tell us how to find you:
- Best of all: your account ID. Open the game online, tap your
villain’s face on the menu’s top bar, and the ACCOUNT window
shows it as ID: followed by eight letters and digits. Copy all
eight into your email.
- If you signed in with Google (Android): the Google address you used.
- If you can no longer open the game: your villain’s name exactly as
it shows on the RANKING, and roughly your best score.
If more than one villain has that name, we may ask one more question to be sure it is
yours. We reply to confirm, and the deletion is done within 30 days. We
never ask for a password, and we never will.
Delete only some of it
You can keep playing and still ask us to delete only part of what we hold. Email
hellotentaculo@gmail.com
with your account ID and say which:
- Your problem reports: the crash and freeze reports your phone sent.
- Name reports: the reports you sent about other players, or the ones other
players sent about your villain.
Your account, save and ranking row stay as they are. We reply to confirm, and it is done
within 30 days.
This cannot be undone
There is no backup we can restore you from and no grace period. There is nothing to buy in
the game, so you lose no purchases, but every villain and every bit of progress goes. If
you signed in with Google and only want to stop playing, sign out instead: that leaves
your account where it is.
What may be kept, and why
- Problem reports. Crash and freeze reports carry only the random account
id, which no longer points to anyone once the account is deleted. We delete them within 12
months of being sent. If you want them gone sooner, say so in your email.
- Name reports. If you tapped REPORT on another player, or another player
reported your villain, the report holds the two random account ids, the reported
villain’s name, the reason (the name or the look) and the time. It is kept only to
deal with abuse on the ranking, and we delete it within 12 months. If you want yours gone
sooner, say so in your email.
- Your block list. The players you blocked are remembered only on your
phone, never on our servers, and the list stays there after you delete your account. Tap
UNBLOCK ALL at the foot of the RANKING, or clear the game’s
storage as below, to remove it.
- Advertising data. Device identifiers and ad interactions are held by our
third-party advertising partners (currently Google AdMob) under their own privacy
policies, not by us. You can reset or delete the advertising ID on your phone at any time:
on Android under Settings → Privacy → Ads, on iPhone by turning tracking off
under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Gameplay measurement. Google Analytics for Firebase holds how the game
was played (runs, screens, choices) under a random id for the install, not under your
account, so deleting the account does not reach it. Google deletes it after at most 14
months. On Android, AppMetrica holds install attribution and a few game events the same
way, under its own random id for the install.
- Crash reports. If the app crashed, Google (Firebase Crashlytics) holds a
crash report that is not linked to your account. Google deletes it automatically after 90
days, and uninstalling the app resets the id it is filed under.
- Your phone’s own backup. If your phone backs itself up to your
Google or Apple account, that backup may hold a copy of the save. It belongs to your
account, not to us: delete it from your phone’s backup settings if you want that
copy gone too.
- Your email to us, if you wrote one, stays in our inbox as the record of
what you asked and when we did it.
- The download. Google Play or the App Store keeps the record that you got
the game, as it does for every app, under its own privacy policy.
Only the phone’s copy
Uninstalling the game removes the save on that phone, but not your account, cloud save or
ranking row. Use the button in the ACCOUNT window first, or email us afterwards. To wipe only
the phone’s copy: on Android you can keep the game, with Settings → Apps →
Villains → Storage & cache →
Clear storage; on iPhone, touch and hold the icon, then
Remove App → Delete App (not
Offload App, which keeps the data).
