What the game collects, who else receives it, and what you can do about it.

No Remorse Again on Google Play and the App Store
(com.tentaculo.noremorseagain), made by Tentaculo, and to nothing else.
Your lives, settings and the players you have blocked are saved only in the game's own storage on your device. Your progress (below) is saved there too, and also backed up to your account.
So that every player's best score can be ranked, the game makes an account for you the first time it goes online: a guest account, with no sign-in. It is stored with Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), which Google runs as our processor; the game's data is kept in the European Union.
| What | Who sees it, and why |
|---|---|
| Account id | A random id Firebase makes for your account. Other players' games use it to show your profile and send you gifts; it says nothing about who you are. |
| Google or Apple sign-in | Optional, from your Profile. If you sign in with Google, Google gives Firebase your Google account's email address and name, which are kept with the sign-in so you can sign in again; the game never shows them to anyone else. Sign in with Apple is asked for no name and no email. |
| Callsign and best score | Public: every player sees them on the leaderboard, with your rank. You choose the callsign (letters, digits and spaces); names on a list of offensive words are refused. Only the best score of a normal mission counts. |
| Profile | Public to other players: missions finished, achievements unlocked, your charisma and the title it gives you. |
| Gifts | When a player sends you a gift (a ping, or a medal after watching a video), we store who sent it, which gift and when. Only you can list the gifts you received; they raise your charisma. |
| Cloud copy of your progress | Private, read only by your own account: your callsign, best score, high score, achievements and when you unlocked them, missions played, refill videos watched and charisma. It is how your progress comes back on a new phone, or after you sign in. |
Signing out keeps all of this with your Google or Apple account and starts a new guest on the phone. To report a player's callsign, tap Report on their profile: your mail app writes to us with that player's callsign and account id, and the email comes from your own address. Block hides a player on your phone only and is never sent anywhere.
The game shows full-screen ads and offers optional videos you can watch for a reward. To serve and measure those ads, AdMob's code in the game may collect:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Device identifiers | Including the advertising identifier. On iPhone it is only available if you allow tracking when asked. |
| Advertising data | Which ads were shown and whether you interacted with them. |
| Product interaction | When an ad is requested and whether it was watched. |
| Approximate location | An area estimated from your internet address, never your precise location. |
| Diagnostics | Crash and performance information from the advertising software. |
This is collected by Google, not by us. It may be used to personalise ads, to measure them and for analytics, and some of it may be combined with data from other apps and websites for advertising (tracking). Google's use of it is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Nothing is sold by us, and we receive no personal data.
The game does not ask for your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
To find faults and balance the game, it measures how it is played with Google Analytics for Firebase. Google handles this data as our processor: on our behalf and under our instructions. It covers:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Sessions and screens | Time played, and the screens you open: menu, options, a mission, the FAILURE screen, achievements, the leaderboard and profiles. |
| Game events | A mission starting and ending, with its score, how long it lasted, how many pieces you destroyed or missed, your best streak and how fast the pieces were falling; a new high score; achievements unlocked; the refill offer and your answer; refill and gift videos and how they ended; gifts sent; a player reported or blocked; signing in and out (only which kind: Google or Apple); taps on the cards for our other games. |
| Errors | Error messages from inside the game, so faults can be fixed. |
| App and device | App version, device model, system version, language and approximate country. |
It is filed under a random id for this install of the game, never under your name, email or leaderboard account, and nothing links the two. Google Analytics deletes the detailed events after at most 14 months.
Until the consent check under Your choices has run (and, where it puts a consent screen in front of you, you have answered it), the game sends no measurement data: it starts switched off and is turned on only by that answer. Where the consent screen applies, measurement keeps an identifier on your phone only if you allowed storing information on your device; if you did not, it sends only counts with no identifier attached. Test builds of the game send nothing.
If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics (Google, as our processor) receives a crash report: the stack trace (where in the code it failed), device model, system version, app version, the time, and a random Crashlytics id for this install — never your leaderboard account, name or email. It is used only to find and fix crashes, and Google keeps crash reports for 90 days.
From the second time you open the game it may show pictures of our other games, downloaded from our own server, tentaculogames.pt. Like any web server, it sees the internet address of the request. No identifier is sent with it, and we do not use it to recognise you. The Cross-Promo switch in Options turns this off. It is on by default on Android and off by default on iPhone.
Open your Profile (the button with your callsign at the top of the main menu) and tap Delete Account twice. That erases, at once and for good, your leaderboard row, your profile, the gifts you received, the cloud copy of your progress and the sign-in itself, and the phone starts a new game. Gifts you sent stay in the other players' lists, without your callsign. If you can no longer open the game, write to the address below with your callsign and we will delete the account for you. See also Delete your data.
Uninstalling the game removes what it saved on the phone, but not your account: use Delete Account for that. Data held by Google AdMob is kept under Google's own policies; resetting your advertising identifier breaks its link to your device. The gameplay measurement held by Google Analytics is filed under a random id for the install, which we cannot look up by anything that points to you; Google deletes it after at most 14 months, and reinstalling the game starts a new id.
The game is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything about them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to the address below and it will be deleted. The only thing one player can write that another reads is a callsign, which is filtered for offensive words and can be reported and blocked.
If what the game collects changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
