Two Left Feet

Privacy policy

What the game collects, who else receives it, and how to get rid of all of it. Written to be read, not to be survived.

Last updated 9 October 2026 · Applies to the game TWO LEFT FEET (com.tentaculo.twoleftfeet) on Android and on iPhone, and to nothing else.

The short version

  • You can play the whole game without signing in.
  • If you sign in with Google, we keep your name and profile picture so your saved game follows you to another phone.
  • Your name appears publicly on the 100 STEPS leaderboard, and levels you publish are playable by everyone.
  • Ads and analytics use device identifiers, handled by Google and by AppMetrica.
  • We measure how the game is played — levels, screens, the shop, videos — with AppMetrica and with Google Analytics for Firebase. Never your name or email.
  • You can erase everything yourself, from inside the game.
  • On iPhone, the game only uses your advertising identifier if you allow tracking when iOS asks.
  • We never see your card, and we never ask for a password.

What the game collects

WhatWhy
Name and profile picture Taken from your Google account when you sign in. Shown on your profile and on the leaderboard.
Email address The game never reads it, but Google's sign-in service stores it against your account so you can sign in again.
An account id A random string that identifies your save. If you play as a guest this is all we have.
Your progress Coins, gems, tickets, characters, trophies, best times, and the levels you build.
What you bought Which of the paid items your account owns. The payment itself happens inside Google Play or the App Store.
Device identifiers Including the advertising identifier (on iPhone, only if you allow tracking), used to show ads and to work out which advert brought someone to the game.
How the app behaves Measured by AppMetrica and by Google Analytics for Firebase, so faults can be found and the game balanced: sessions and time played, app version, device model, system version, language, approximate country and crash reports, and game events — a level started and how it ended (won, caught or left, with its steps and time), 100 STEPS runs and scores, coins, gems and tickets earned and spent, purchases, trophies, and signing in or out. Google Analytics also sees the screens you open, the characters and avatars you wear, the videos you watch, the levels you build, play, publish or rate (as an anonymous number, never the level's name) and in-game error messages. It files all of this under a random id for this install of the app, never under your name or email, and deletes the detailed events after at most 14 months.
Crash reports If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics (Google) receives a report: the stack trace (where in the code it failed), device model, system version, app version, the time, and a random Crashlytics id for this install — never your account, name or email. Used only to find and fix crashes. Google keeps crash reports for 90 days.

The game does not ask for your location, your contacts, your photos, your microphone or your camera, and it holds no permission that would let it.

Who else receives it

Nothing is sold, and nothing is handed to anyone not on this list.

Ads, and your choice about them

The game shows ads, and offers videos you can watch in exchange for rewards. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, a consent screen appears before any ad is requested, and what you choose there decides whether ads are personalised. You can change your mind at any time: Options → ADS & PRIVACY.

On iPhone, iOS also asks whether the game may track you across apps and websites. If you say no, the advertising identifier is never read and the ads you see are not personalised. You can change that answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

On Android, you can reset or delete the advertising identifier in Android Settings under Privacy, at any time and without asking us.

The same answer governs measurement, AppMetrica's and Google Analytics'. Until the consent screen has been answered (or found not to apply where you are), the app sends no measurement data and reads no advertising identifier — both start switched off and are turned on only by that answer. Where the consent screen applies, AppMetrica measures only if you allowed storing information on your device, and Google Analytics keeps an identifier on your phone only if you allowed it; if you did not, Google Analytics sends only counts with no identifier attached. Changing your answer in Options → ADS & PRIVACY changes this too.

Getting rid of it

The short way

In the game: your picture, top left → DELETE ACCOUNT. It erases the lot, on the phone and on our servers, including levels you published and your leaderboard rows.

If you have already uninstalled, or you want a copy of what we hold instead, email hellotentaculo@gmail.com. Full instructions are on the data deletion page.

We keep your data for as long as the account exists. Deletion requests are done within 30 days.

Children

This game is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from a child. If you are a parent and believe your child has an account here, email us and we will delete it.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to how it is used. One email does any of them. We do not charge for it and we do not need a reason.

Changes

If what the game collects changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. There is no other notice — so the date is the thing to look at.
